Girls Camp and Family Reunion

GIRLS CAMP!
Below is a picture of when I first got to girls camp on Wednesday. Camp started on Tuesday. They were having a lesson about Joseph Smith and the Sacred Grove. It was really neat for the girls. I was so pumped when I got there. I couldn't really sit in my seat.

We went to Payson Lakes for Girls Camp. Isn't it beautiful?
Holy Cow! That water was sooo cold! When I jumped in, I could barely breathe!! I swam so fast to get out of it. I did jump back in again for fun.
I didn't realize Jon's eye's were closed. Oops!
This is Kenzie below. She is a gymnist. She isn't doing a flip here, but she did some amazing back flips earlier.

Bath Time!!

These are our HOTTEST IS MODEST leaders. They did a little joke at the end.

This is the whole group in our pajama pants that we made. I wish you could see the girls all close up. They all looked so cute considering they were so dirty. Leaders on the other hand were another story.

MY FAMILY REUNION!!
We went to my family reunion and Jon's high school reunion on Saturday which--- was JON'S BIRTHDAY!! Happy Birthday to you!! Last year was scout camp, while I was in Indiana. At least I got to spend the day with him and he got his favorite cupcakes!
Jake and Jaxson at RockPort Reservoir. Jaxson didn't like the cold water, but he did like the rocks.

I gave Jaxson a cupcake..... I don't know what I was thinking!
It was like Jaxson's first birthday all over again.

I wish I would have gotten more pictures of my family. It was great to see my Dad's family. I haven't seen them in two years. They were all so kind and we had some good laughs. I also wish I could have had more time with my family. We didn't camp since we just had gotten back from girls camp and then we had to rush back to Jon's High School Reunion. Maybe I can see them another time soon.

Scrapbook

Yesterday I found a good reason to push through scrapbooking projects. When you start something-FINISH IT. I went to Roberts Crafts yesterday to get some paper to finish my wedding album. Mind you.... Jon and I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary in August. Anyway, I went to Roberts and they did not have the scrapbook paper that I used in my book. That's how long it's been since I worked on it. I am sitting here thinking though, that maybe I got some at Michaels. So there is hope for me to finish it and get going on Jaxson's Scrapbook, ya know, since he is a year and half now.

I am TERRIBLE. What excuses do I have. I am a stay-at-home mom. Give me a break!!

Air Show

Saturday we were planning on going to the airshow, but then Jon decided it would be too loud for Jaxson, so we went to a park by my brother's house in Clinton. BUT it was as close as we thought it would be. The kids ended up just playing around the park. My nephew, Jake, liked talking about the birds instead of the jets.
On Sunday we were getting ready to go to my mom's when the airshow started. Jon and I went outside and saw how close the jets were. We were so excited. Jon went and woke up Jaxson--who was already waking up because of how loud it was outside and I grabbed the camra.

Jon brought Jaxson out and the first jet flew over us===the lowest and loudest one of the day. Jaxson started shaking. But then one the next one he said "Plane." I would point and then he would point.
The pictures do the jets a huge injustice. Plus I just suck at trying to take a picture of a moving object. A lot of the jets went right over our house.

This is Jaxson this morning. He came out of our bedroom wearing the necklace and shoes. It didn't dawn on me for a few minutes how funny it was. I haven't worn a necklace in months, so it's funny that he knows it goes around your neck.
