Christmas lights and shoveling

I don't know why, but liked to do this, so I showed Jaxson. He thought he was pretty cool.

Jaxson can't ride his car outside so he sits in it and watches movies.

I think we are going to be doing this for what seems like FOREVER!!

At least I have a helper, but even today he went in early.

Halloween/Birthday/Thanksgiving

I'm catching up just a little bit. ha ha!

I went my sister-in-laws to the Black Island Farms pumpkin patch. This is almost all of the grandkids on my side of the family except for Ben, he was too cold and bundled up in a blanket with his mom.

They have lots of stuff for the kids to do, including these fun slides. Ben had just broke his collar bone, so we needed to be a little careful with him.The hayride was fun, but cold.

This was the awesome animal train ride!

Jaxson didn't want to get off so he got to go twice.

The next night we went back with Jon and our friends Ben and Kelsey.
This was the biggest slide I have ever been on. Holy Cow! Scary!

Jaxson was a dragon. It was a lot of fun watching Jaxson figure out this whole Trick-or-Treating thing. He got way too much candy.

These are the amazing pumpkins Jon carved. Unfortunetly they were stolen off our front porch about 2 hours later.

I made this "incredible" birthday cake for Jaxson's 2nd Birthday. He did not even eat a bite. He was too excited about the cars on top of it.

This is the GeoTrax train set Jon's mom and us got him for this birthday.

THANKSGIVING!
We flew up to Jon's parent's house in Vancouver WA the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
This is Sam. Cute huh?!
We had loads of fun playing all sorts of games.

"FORKS" HIGH SCHOOL!!
This is in Kalama. 30 minutes away from Jon's parents house. This is where they film the outside scenes of the high school in Twilight and New Moon.

This is where Edward saves Bella. In New Moon they must have added pine trees.

I was soooo excited! But I felt like such an idiot running around taking pictures, because school was going on and Jon's family was waiting in the car watching me. But it was worth it!

Jon's parents have a lot of little cars to ride on but as usual Jaxson likes the pink and purple car the best. We go to Toys 'r us and he goes straight to the barbie car. He got in a fight with a girl the other night over it.

The day before Thanksgiving we went on one of my favorite hikes in Oregon. Look at all the moss on the trees. I felt like I was in a fairy tale.

Jaxson didn't like the water spraying on him. Plus it was loud.

All 9 grandkids went on the hike. All of Jaxson's cousins are pros.

Jaxson and Bethany on their date.

Jaxson is pointing us where to go.

Jaxson is getting to be quite the frequent flyer, so my mom bought him this suitcase for his birthday.

Sorry this blog was soooo long. Hope everyone is having a great Christmas season!

My crazy guys

Jaxson wasn't having a good time at texas roadhouse, so we gave him the camera and voila. We have 69 pictures and this is the best one.Jaxson has been becoming very independent. He decided that it was time to make his own breakfast, so he made a magical mix. . .
fruit loops, cinnamon toast crunch, and . . .

EGGS!!!! YUMMY.

These are Jon's peppers, he went crazy this year and planted a ton of pepper plants in our garden. The day before the first frost was supposed to come Jon went out and picked everything. While picking the peppers, he found a huge one, and so he picked it and there was another one the same size. He made stufffed peppers the next night for dinner.

Every year we go to our friend's (Amber and Mel) Halloween party. This year Jon decided to be the old Crone from Snow white. The only snow white costume that I could find was not appropriate, so I got a princess costume instead. No one realized that I was even part of his costume. Jon won the best costume award and we had a lot of fun. Jon went a little overboard and after running me all over the county trying to find the parts to his costume, he came up with this . . .

Annual Swimming Trip

Every summer my family goes to the Roy Aquatic Center. We went just before school started. I think this was our 3rd or 4th year. It was more exciting this year with Jaxson. He had a great time with dad going down the slide. He liked it when they would go faster, he would giggle. I went with him and he seemed bored.

Ben and Abby are dolphins! They love swimming.

Brianna looked pretty good in her shades.

Look how tan Jake is! He made us all look so pale.

Ben is trying to work on his tan so he can be like his twin-cousin.

Jaxson has to be doing what his cousins are doing all the time. Brianna and Abby are usually inseperable. I'm glad that they make everyone get out of the pool, because then I was able to get all these great photos.

The Zoo

We were pretty excited about the baby elephant. It was really cute!

Jaxson really liked the penguins. I might have to get some of those penguin movies now.

Jaxson's other favorite animals were the Giraffes . They were really active. Once again there was a baby giraffe- so cute especially when it went to sit down, it looked like bambi. Most of the other animals were hot and lazy.

See this "Cat" behind the fence. It did not like Jaxson. He didn't want to go back and see it, so he was screaming. I'm glad those fences are strong...

My mom and my brother, Clark, decided to come to the zoo because they hadn't been in a long time like us. They were great to help us with Jaxson. He can be a handfull.

Jaxson had a lot of fun at the end in the playground area. I was excited for him to play in the tree house like I did when I was a kid, but they took it out. We were excited to get out of the heat and get some lunch at the end. We went to Greek Souvlaki afterwards-one of my favorite places to eat! Yummmmm!!
