January Overview

My nephew's Jacob and Ben had a birthday party. 3 Years old!
My sister-in-laws made these unbelievable birthday cakes!

Their cakes were amazing. My cake that I made for Jaxson's birthday was really ghetto compared to these cakes. Holy Cow!!

Then I went to the zoo with Jennifer, Joyce, and all the kids for a free zoo day.

Doesn't this picture look cool! I told Brianna to look scared like she was right next to the tiger.

We could never get the kids to look at us when we took pictures.
Jaxson was spoiled and got to go on the Carosel (spelling?) 2 times!! I had to drag him off both times, screaming. Surprise, surprise.

Luckily they had a lot of exhibits indoors, so it wasn't too cold. This is the only picture I got of the group because Jaxson would not participate in the picture. He is already starting to run off.

This last weekend, my brother, Clark and I went up to Sundance to try and see some celebrities, but it was completely DEAD. We were going to go last weekend, but it was snowing and I didn't want to drive Parley's in the snow.

It was really fun though. We got lunch and walked around, best weather in January ever!

Then we went to the Outlet mall on the way out and I was in Carter- kids clothing and noticed Matt Harpring shopping with his wife and 3 kids. I felt like such an idiot asking for his picture, but I too excited not to. He was really nice.

I guess he is kind of retiring, because of all these injuries he has gotten the past few years. I always thought he was way cute and he is in person too!

Those cakes are awsome. Your sister-in-laws are so talented.

When Joe was Jaxson's age we took him to Disneyland and all he wanted to do was ride the carousel. When the ride would stop he would cry and hold on as tight as he could. Then we would pry him off and run around to the line again. Luckily it was not busy and eventually he figured out that he could go again if he got off and got in line. The next day he played on his rocking horse. He would ride it for a minute and then get off and grumble as he walked around it and then get back on and happily ride it again. IT must be a two year old boy thing.

You are braver than I am. If I saw a celebraty, I think I would just stare from afar. That is cool you got to meet Matt Harpring, he is one of my favorites.
