Eclipse Switches

This is Bryce Dallas Howard who is going to be playing Victoria in Eclipse instead of Rachelle Lefevre. I think it's weird they keep changing things. Like there is yet another different director for Eclipse. So every movie is going to have a different director. I do like this girl Bryce Howard. She had been in "Lady in the Water," and "The Village." She is also the daughter of Ron Howard. I can see the resemblance with the red hair. The shows I have seen her in, she plays a sweet girl, so it's going to be hard to see her as a evil vampire. But you never know.

Want a good laugh Twilight fans?

My brother, Clark, found this awesome website where they have done spoofs of the New Moon trailer and also Twilight. You have to watch the Official New Moon trailer and then watch this. I thought I might PEE MY PANTS laughing soooooo hard!! I love it because they even use the same music. I think Jon liked the "Twilight Before Christmas."

Then here is the New Moon Spoof ( Just click on the highlighted part):

PLEASE WATCH THEM IF YOU WANT A GOOD LAUGH. They remind of Saturday Night Live or Madtv bits.

Staycation

Staycation: stay at home vacation
We started out our staycation with going to Jaxson's first movie, ICE AGE 3. My brother, Clark, my mom, and our friends, Ben and Kelsey came. Jaxson did good for about 45 minutes and then he started changing seats a lot and then walked around and sat on the stairs. Pretty good for 1 and half years old!

That night Jon's sister, Ellen arrived at our house with her 5 kids and then the next day was the 4th of July. We got Jaxson's pool out and turned on the sprinklers. It was fun. There ended up being 12 kids running around.

Then Grandma Lay threw pop-its with the kids while they dried off.

Jaxson was in Time Out, even though we didn't put him in Time Out, he decided to join his cousins.

This is Grandma with some of the grandkids getting ready to watch fireworks.

Matthew kept asking when we were going to do REAL fireworks, because he is from Washington where they do fireworks that shoot up into the sky. It's too bad we can't do them here.

On Monday July 6th we went to the Oquirrh Hills Temple open house.
It was kinda crazy going through a temple with 12 kids and not enough adults. Jon had to work and 2 husbands weren't in Utah yet. Jaxson would runaway from me and I couldn't yell at him to stop. I just had to try and weave my way through people, while getting glared at. It was really peaceful....

Great picture huh?
Below the group photo, is a picture of the kids helping to sand Grandma Atkin's posts at her house. We went there on Tuesday and spent some time helping/destroying her house.

We also went to Hillary's on Wednesday July 8th and the kids had blast playing in the pool. We didn't even have them come inside to eat dinner.

Then I'm sure you noticed the beautiful newborn baby, Valerie Anne Bolander. My newest niece. Jon's sister, Hillary, had her July 9th. 8 pounds 13 ounces. She is so precious.

Elllen and I went and saw Hillary before we went to Lagoon with all the kids. I didn't get many pictures of Lagoon because I had my mom babysit Jaxson in the afternoon and my camra got left there. Jaxson liked Bulgy the Whale and Puff the Magic Dragon, and that was about it. He just wasn't into Lagoon yet. We had a great time though going with all our nieces and nephews.

The last picture of Jaxson he is crying because the ride worker had ended the ride and he needed to get out. He didn't understand lines or turnes at all. It will be a lot better when he older.

The next day was Jon's grandpa's 90th Birthday party. I haven't been that exhausted in a long time. We had a good time seeing everyone. Ellen and Andy went home right after the party. So that is why I haven't posted much, because I have been recovering from my staycation.

Harry Potter

Look at how cute they were!!!
I can't believe they started this series when they were this young!
2000
2009

I put this in honor of the movie coming out this week. Jon is going to go see it Friday night and he can't wait. He is way excited.

Jon was watching Harry Potter the other night and Jaxson started pretending he was using a wand. I thought it was cute. He might be Harry for Halloween.

Dr. Phil.com

I saw this show today that made me so greatful for life and my healthy boy. Holy Cow. My heart just aches for this whole family. Also I was procrastinating cleaning my house....

I'm not the biggest fan of Dr. Phil, but it was about a woman who had a healthy baby girl and then three years later she gave birth to triplet girls, who she later found out are deaf and blind. She was already having marriage problems before she had the triplets, so she ending up getting a divorce. But has since remarried, but now her new husband is wondering what he got himself into.

I just can't even imagine having the patience that this woman has. There are times I think I am going to crazy, but after watching this, I think I can make it.

The link is below if you want to a 30 second clip. It will make you feel better about your life.

Girls Camp and Family Reunion

GIRLS CAMP!
Below is a picture of when I first got to girls camp on Wednesday. Camp started on Tuesday. They were having a lesson about Joseph Smith and the Sacred Grove. It was really neat for the girls. I was so pumped when I got there. I couldn't really sit in my seat.

We went to Payson Lakes for Girls Camp. Isn't it beautiful?
Holy Cow! That water was sooo cold! When I jumped in, I could barely breathe!! I swam so fast to get out of it. I did jump back in again for fun.
I didn't realize Jon's eye's were closed. Oops!
This is Kenzie below. She is a gymnist. She isn't doing a flip here, but she did some amazing back flips earlier.

Bath Time!!

These are our HOTTEST IS MODEST leaders. They did a little joke at the end.

This is the whole group in our pajama pants that we made. I wish you could see the girls all close up. They all looked so cute considering they were so dirty. Leaders on the other hand were another story.

MY FAMILY REUNION!!
We went to my family reunion and Jon's high school reunion on Saturday which--- was JON'S BIRTHDAY!! Happy Birthday to you!! Last year was scout camp, while I was in Indiana. At least I got to spend the day with him and he got his favorite cupcakes!
Jake and Jaxson at RockPort Reservoir. Jaxson didn't like the cold water, but he did like the rocks.

I gave Jaxson a cupcake..... I don't know what I was thinking!
It was like Jaxson's first birthday all over again.

I wish I would have gotten more pictures of my family. It was great to see my Dad's family. I haven't seen them in two years. They were all so kind and we had some good laughs. I also wish I could have had more time with my family. We didn't camp since we just had gotten back from girls camp and then we had to rush back to Jon's High School Reunion. Maybe I can see them another time soon.

Scrapbook

Yesterday I found a good reason to push through scrapbooking projects. When you start something-FINISH IT. I went to Roberts Crafts yesterday to get some paper to finish my wedding album. Mind you.... Jon and I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary in August. Anyway, I went to Roberts and they did not have the scrapbook paper that I used in my book. That's how long it's been since I worked on it. I am sitting here thinking though, that maybe I got some at Michaels. So there is hope for me to finish it and get going on Jaxson's Scrapbook, ya know, since he is a year and half now.

I am TERRIBLE. What excuses do I have. I am a stay-at-home mom. Give me a break!!
